About Home and a Loan®
Mission
The mission of "Home and a Loan®” is twofold. First, to provide a professional and effective network of real estate and mortgage services that work together in a manner that affords the homeowner a significant savings in fees. This bundling of services and resulting savings is designed to make the buy/sell adventure a pleasant event, instead of a stressful process.
Second, to provide an avenue for companies and corporations to assist their employees in the process of buying and selling homes, for relocation of employees or just moving up to a new home. This assistance adds a level of protection for the employees when they make one of the largest financial decisions of a lifetime. It shows the employees that the company does care about each employees financial well being.
What is Home and a Loan®?
"Home and a Loan®" is a network of all the services that are generally involved in real estate sales and purchase transactions, including mortgage lenders, real estate companies, title companies, appraisers, and credit services. Each of these entities work together to provide you, the home owner, with a one-stop shopping service that can be offered to you through your employer’s company or corporation. With this one place to call, "Home and a Loan®" can take away the fear of calling and asking questions about selling a home, buying a home and/or getting a loan. "Home and a Loan®" members can call a toll-free number to ask real estate related questions without the pressure and concern of return marketing calls. Your call will be returned only if requested.
Employee Benefits:
An independent survey of people at the closing of the purchase or refinance of their home, found the following to be the most commonly expressed concerns:
1. Not easily being able to get information about real estate services without getting hounding calls from prospective mortgage lenders and real estate agents.
2. The fear of paying too much for services.
3. Having no previous relationship with the person working with them.
4. The fear of asking questions during the transaction (asking questions made them feel inadequate and degraded.)
Being afraid that at the closing "surprise tactics" will be used, resulting in them needing to pay more money than expected (over 75% discussed this issue.)
Home and a Loan® has established a way to minimize these concerns through a cost-effective bundling of services into a one-stop concept. This enables the employees/homeowners to conveniently educate themselves without fear and obtain the information needed to make an educated decision without pressure. All of this is accomplished within the protection of Home and a Loan® network. The employee is empowered to make decisions and save money with the help of their employer, providing this no cost service to their employees.
